I adore this shade, although I don't fancy lip lacquers very much. If this was a matte finish, maybe it would have turned out to be a bit dull. This way, it not only is a lovely, vibrant pink - but it has a glossy finish to die for. The formula is a bit sticky, as I found out while walking around the city in windy weather, but it is also moisturizing. It leaves a mild stain behind, so your lips won't look odd when most of the lipstick is gone.
Again, this liquid lip color comes in a tube, equipped with an easy to use doe foot applicator. With this shade, I found that there was absolutely no need for a lip liner, as it does not bleed and it has enough pigment to cover your whole lip and then some. :-)
The shiny finish will make your lips look fuller, which I love, and it will not highlight any lines. But you will need to prep your lips before applying the color, to get that perfect finish. Now that spring is just around the corner (at least here, in lovely Romania), and in spite of the trending nude lip, this color will help you brighten your day, any day.
The lasting power is not phenomenal, but Apocaliptic stays on for hours if you do not eat or drink anything. I keep it in my handbag for touchups, if that is the color I choose before rushing out the door.
Have you tried this shade? Which other shades do you own from the Rimmel APOCALIPS line?
